Wanted: World's Number 1 Killer

Did you know - The number 1 cause of deaths in the world today are CVD's (Cardiovascular diseases)

Did you know - 29% of global deaths each year are due to CVD's (this figure is constantly rising)

Did you know - Poor diet, lack of exercise and tobacco use are responsible for about 80% of all CVD's

What can we do about it?
It's not rocket surgery! Individuals can reduce their risk of suffering from a CVD simply by exercising regularly, not smoking tobacco (get a vaporiser!), punching people in the face when their second hand smoke blows your way, choosing a diet that is full of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as avoiding foods high in fat, sugar and salt (ie just about all fast food and processed foods) and by maintaining a healthy body weight (refer to the BMI calculator - http://www.mydr.com.au/tools/bodymass)

Check out this link for more information from the World Health Organisation (WHO) about CVD's and the impact that our poor lifestyle choices are having on a global scale.
